peer feedback

I wasn't planning on going to school on Friday but I knew that I wasn't going to miss the amazing

~group meetings ~~

so helpful, as expected.

For my first question:

Should I have my mom play the actress who is in therapy and have someone my own age playing the girl in the flashbacks or should both scenes just include one girl the same age?

They agreed that it would be better if I got someone closer to the age of the main actress it would be better, but I could still do that if I wanted too. Although they were a little leaning-both-ways on this one, I realized that I am pretty sure I am going to have an older person be in the therapy scene. Especially because while in California I won't have access to my young actress, but I will have my mom and that is where I was going to do the therapy scene anyway :)

For the second question that I prepared which was:

Should I include a driving scene from her getting ready to being at the photo shoot - or should the flashbacks transition directly from the getting ready to the photoshoot?

Only if I needed more time to film up, which I don't think I will, did they say that I should use this scene for a transition. I agree with their perspective and will keep this idea to the side until I begin editing.

My third question:

Should I include background music to more effectively communicate the overall feeling and theme?

So I didn't really talk to them about this but I am thinking no on this especially since there are two contrasting overall moods and kind of feelings to my piece.

And for my last question:

Where do you think my dialogue should go to? As of now it just goes through how when she modeled she became depressed but I don't know where I want it to go at the end of two minutes.

Thankfully they reassured my current idea and let me know that my idea wasn't crazy and they could see it too so I don't have to rework a whole new concept.
