last day of filming, like actually!

Hey guys,

Our journey together is coming to an end,

Today we filmed our last two scenes, the photoshoot scene and the new added bonus scene of Nicole crying in the closet! I am really happy to say the least about how they both came out. It's currently 10:30 at night, we filmed from 4-7 and I have been uploading the videos and clearing the storage ever since. So far seeing the footage I am hoping that it is going to fix what was so unsettling to me about the last draft because I want to be proud of this piece. I made a vlog of our day filming but honestly giving the circumstances with how many videos I have to go through and edit I am just not so sure if I will be able to get around to that  but if I do I will place it in this blog post.

During the filming process today I wanted to capitalize on my genre conventions (drama) I used lots of camera movements, close ups, over the shoulder shots, etc. I can't wait to edit it all together because I got some really cool shots today. Additionally, a while back if you remember, I included a blog fully dedicated to what her makeup would be for the photoshoot I was imagining and today that vision came to life! I spent a while doing her makeup but I am really quite happy with the finished product and also I gave her an eyeliner cat eye and the wing came out extra amazing in the shots without me even thinking of it.

I am not going to lie, all my high expectations were not immediately reached when I got to my friends house who claimed he had a bunch of camera equipment to make this scene look like my actress was a real model in a real photoshoot. But as you guys already know thus far I am not one to give up so easily, I may have been a pain and made him do a bunch of extra stuff but the end for sure justified the means at this point.

Her outfit: I went into my closet and grabbed all of my most fancy signature pieces that I use for photoshoots on my own free-time and me and Nicole mixed and matched until we got a cool combo and I picked out one of my chokers for her, a pair of sunglasses, boots, a black long sleeve, and a put her hair in a high ponytail with a scrunchie- each extra touch added so much to it. I was so pleased with the way the outfit came out it looks like it would be in a real photoshoot and I want to use this outfit! I would include a photo but I want you guys to be surprised when you watch my film opening :)

- Update: I just looked through all of the vlogging videos, and wow I can talk up a storm you really don't wanna hear all that.

LOL,
Lina
