I have been doing a lot of thinking, rethinking, and researching this week and I am really proud to present the following, it's like a written story board with no pictures yet. Although I strayed a little bit from my original plan I not only believe that this will work better but it is also interesting in my opinion.
Tracking shot:
Starts pointing towards the floor and bottom of the bed, goes from bed to show the feet get into frame and then follows girls feet as she walks to the bathroom wearing fuzzy slippers and then the shot moves up her legs and shows her standing looking at herself in the mirror.
(Non-deigetic sound piano)
Close-up:
Shot of girl who was in mirror face she looks longingly into herself and then the dialogue starts.
Voice over: I guess I was honestly never really that aware how much it killed me inside.
Perspective shot OR shot from the right side of the bathroom counter facing so the camera can see the sink:
The girl turns on the sink and begins to brush her teeth
Medium shot:
Girl is either in therapy/ in group therapy/ or giving a speech
The voice over begins to match perfectly with her lips in the speech and she says: "It got dark in a blink of an eye.”
Close up:
Shot of the girl applying eyeshadow/foundation/mascara
Voice over: “One day I just woke up"
Extreme close up:
Girls lips, lipstick being applied
Voice over: "a-and I didn’t- I just didn’t”
Medium shot:
Girl in therapy talking
Voice over: have the will or I mean not even the
Shot-reverse shot:
Therapist listening to the girl
Voice over: want to simply
Medium shot:
Back to girl in therapy…. lifts her pinky up
Voice over: just like lift my pinky
Close up:
Shot of girls feet and legs while she puts on her red heels
Voice over: I remember feeling so heavy.
Tracking shot:
Girls earring and side of face down her body to her feet walking out of room from the front. No voice over.
(that's 11 shots so far! side note: 11 is my favorite number:))
